Step 5 of 5
Tell your brokers where to pay
A note to your brokers about where to send payment after you leave, and when it is safe to send it.
Don’t move invoices that your factor still holdsYour brokers may have been told to pay your factor for invoices it funded. If a broker pays you instead of the factor, they can be made to pay twice, and you can end up in a fight. So the note below only changes where new invoices are paid, until your factor releases the old ones in writing.
Your details
Used in every letter. Fill in what you know; the rest shows as [brackets] you can type over.
🔒 Everything you type or paste here stays in this browser. It is not sent to Haul Factor and not saved on our servers. Details are kept for this tab only so the letters can share them.
One question
Has your factor confirmed in writing that every invoice it held is released?
Your letter
You can edit the letter right here before you copy it. Send it the way your agreement says, keep a copy, and keep proof of delivery.
Bank details never go by plain email. Use your broker’s secure vendor form for those.
General information, not legal advice. These are templates and plain-language explainers. Contracts and state laws differ, and we haven’t read yours. If your factor is fighting you, or the amounts are big, talk to a lawyer. We’re not one, and we’re not a factor.
