Stuck with your factor? Here’s the way out.
A free toolkit for drivers who want out. Five steps, in the order most drivers need them. No account. Everything you type stays in your browser. General information, not legal advice.
Find the clauses that matter
Paste your agreement. We point to the notice period, exit fees, auto-renew, minimums, reserves and anything that sounds like a lock-in, in plain words.
About 5 minutes02Write your notice letter
A fill-in letter for giving written notice the way your agreement asks. Works out the date your notice points to.
About 5 minutes03Ask for your payoff and your money
A letter asking for the final statement, every fee with its section, and the date your reserve comes back.
About 5 minutes04End their claim: the UCC-3
What the filing is, how to look yours up, and a letter asking them to end it.
About 10 minutes05Tell your brokers where to pay
A note to your brokers about where to send payment after you leave, and when it is safe to send it.
About 5 minutes- Read the notice section of your agreement first.
- Send notice the way it says, in writing, and keep proof.
- Don’t stop sending invoices or paying fees on your own until the end date is confirmed in writing.
- Don’t tell brokers to pay you directly while the factor still holds the invoices.
Some factors pay us a referral fee when a driver signs with them. You pay nothing extra, and it never changes a score or ranking. The Exit Kit is free and does not push you to any factor. If you’re looking for a new one, read what drivers say first.
Want the five steps in your inbox?
We’ll email the steps, one at a time over two weeks, so you don’t send anything out of order. The tools above stay free and open: you don’t need to give an email to use them.
