Content guidelines
What a review can say, and what it can’t.
What you can write
- What happened to you: speeds, fees, calls, what leaving took.
- Facts you can back up, and honest opinion.
- Praise or complaints. We treat both the same.
What you can’t write
- Accusations of crimes you can’t back up.
- Names of reps, phone numbers, account numbers or other private information.
- Threats, hate or harassment.
- Anything off topic, or about a competitor you haven’t used.
- Anything you were paid or told to write.
How to write a useful review
- Say when it happened and what you were told.
- Use numbers: hours, dollars, days.
- Say what you wish you’d known.
How we check
Reviews are checked against these guidelines before they post, and a person reads anything flagged. A person may also take out names, dates or other details that could point to you. See review rules for removals and replies.
