Four rules before you do anything
  1. Read the notice section of your agreement first.
  2. Send notice the way it says, in writing, and keep proof.
  3. Don’t stop sending invoices or paying fees on your own until the end date is confirmed in writing.
  4. Don’t tell brokers to pay you directly while the factor still holds the invoices.
Did you get out? How did it go?When you finish a step or come back, we’ll ask. Your answers feed the Leaving score and show as reviews from verified drivers. Tell us how leaving went →
General information, not legal advice. These are templates and plain-language explainers. Contracts and state laws differ, and we haven’t read yours. If your factor is fighting you, or the amounts are big, talk to a lawyer. We’re not one, and we’re not a factor.

Some factors pay us a referral fee when a driver signs with them. You pay nothing extra, and it never changes a score or ranking. The Exit Kit is free and does not push you to any factor. If you’re looking for a new one, read what drivers say first.

Want the five steps in your inbox?

We’ll email the steps, one at a time over two weeks, so you don’t send anything out of order. The tools above stay free and open: you don’t need to give an email to use them.
